The thing that's strange about procrastination is, that you actually get more things done than when you're behaving normally. You might be not as productive as you should be (and surely not productive enough for your teacher/your mum/whoever wants something from you) but at least you are productive at all. Maybe you now "got the time" to chat a little bit with your mum, finding out new things about your family or learning new things about life; maybe you finally finish the letter you started writing 3 months ago or you write to an old friend on facebook, improving your relationship; maybe you tidy up your room at last or get other chores done; maybe...
This list goes on. And whoever is questioning this: Yes, this is productivity, too! It may not be the one you're going for, but it's surely more productive than sitting on the couch all day watching TV or browsing the internet (yep, that's my usual daily routine... naturally lazy person ;)).
And eventually, you will get the work done you actually wanted to be done. It's just the flow of productivity that will carry you along and in the end you will be more productive than ever! :)
... at least that's what I hope for :')
